We adore the Junko Okamoto's designs and are inspired by the creative ways she uses color, texture, and proportion to create truly, unique one-of-a-kind sweaters. 

Junko made Papa using Horizon, our beloved farm yarn, known for its softness and close connection to the sheep and the Earth. Junko gathered inspiration from the coziness and warmth offered by wearing an oversized sweater, to create a bulbous shaped body and sleeves that indeed are comfy to snuggle into. Large sketches of flowers encircle the sweater and are created via the technique of stranded colorwork.

For her sweater, Junko used Horse's Mane as the main color, and Bandana as the contrasting color. Due to shifts in the environment, we have re-created these colors to create close approximations, now called Horse's Mane Too and Bandana Too. For additional color options, shop our pages for and .
